Abstract

We study the post-Newtonian limit in the teleparallel equivalent of general relativity with a scalar field which nonminimally couples to gravity. The metric perturbation is obtained from the vierbein field expansion with respect to the Minkowski background. Due to the structure of the teleparallel gravity Lagrangian, the potential of the scalar field shows no effect to the parametrized post-Newtonian parameters, and compatible results with Solar System observations are found.
