Abstract Two triethylphosphine complexes of trinuclear molybdenum chlorosulfido clusters have been synthesized. Determination of the crystal structures have shown that they can be formulated as [Mo3(μ3-S)(μ-S)3Cl4(PEt3)n(MeOH)5−n] (n = 3, 4).
