Extensive dynamical light-scattering experiments have been performed on the critical ternary system water, benzene, and ethanol close to its 25 \ifmmode^\circ\else\textdegree\fi{}C plait point. The experimental results show the theoretically expected renormalization of the critical exponents. Furthermore, the critical slowing down of concentration fluctuations is very well accounted for by the Kawasaki mode-coupling theory including background effects.
