Two adult male patients, one a European and one a Native, were treated for enormous enlargement of the right foot. This enlargement was shown to be due to a lipomatosis causing expansion and destruction of bone and destruction of joints. Muscle and other soft tissues were also involved in at least one of the cases. This lipomatosis began very early in life, and remains confined to the affected area although involving the tissues diffusely in that area. The radiological and pathological appearances are described. In the literature at present available to us, no description of a similar condition could be found.
