Least squares analysis of complex data with applications to permittivity measurements

Abstract

A method is described for fitting complex data to a given function, with particular emphasis on the case where the fitting parameters are periodic. A procedure is given for the fitting of data when the relationship between the observed variables and the functional variables cannot be solved explicitly.
