A first-order Z-expansion method is used to calculate oscillator strengths and radiative lifetimes in the sodium sequence. The computed 3s-3p and 3p-3d oscillator strengths for the more highly ionized members of the sequence are generally in satisfactory agreement with the experimental values. Lifetime results for 4p and 4d states of sodium-like ions are presented graphically in a manner which demonstrates their regularity as a function of Z-1 and allows interpolation to be carried out.
