Assessment of potential donors for living related liver transplantation

Abstract

Parents approach living related liver transplantation with enthusiasm. They should be advised of the high chance of unsuitability, including the finding of significant pathology. The limitation of living related liver transplantation as the major source of organs for children is recognized.
