Rapid Synthesis of Multiferroic BiFeO₃ Single-Crystalline Nanostructures

Abstract

A simple and large scale synthesis method was performed to synthesize high-purity BiFeO3 single-crystalline nanostructures in NaCl−Na2SO4 medium. The synthesis of BiFeO3 phase is limited by a very narrow range of sintering conditions, and the BiFeO3 can be obtained after a very short sintering time (20 min).
