We realize full solar spectrum, visible-infrared catalysis for benzene oxidation by developing novel solar light-driven thermocatalysis on MnO<sub>x</sub>/TiO<sub>2</sub> nanocomposite, and find a synergetic effect between photocatalysis and thermocatalysis.
