Novel Electrode Structure of Vaccum Interrupter and its Practical Application

Abstract

A vacuum interrupter having a novel electrode structure has been successfully developed. This unique electrode structure permits the flow of the short-circuit current through the interrupter to be used for generation of magnetic fields to stabilize the vacuum arc.
