Entomophobia in the Urban Ecosystem, Some Observations and Suggestions

Abstract

For the last 6 years the authors have focused their research upon urban garden ecosystems. As entomologists we became conscious of considerable contamination of this environment resulting from the misuse and overuse of pesticides by people with an irrational fear of insects.
