Silymarin alleviates bleomycin-induced pulmonary toxicity and lipid peroxidation in mice

Abstract

Silymarin attenuated bleomycin induced-pulmonary toxicity. This protective effect may be due to the ability of silymarin in keeping oxidant-antioxidant balance and regulating of inflammatory mediator release.
