BOSCH received a B.A. in mathematics from Oberlin College, an M.S. in operations research and statistics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and a Ph.D. in operations research from Yale University. Since 1991 he has been a member of the mathematics department at Oberlin College, and he is now an associate professor there. He has written papers on interior point methods for linear programming, AIDS modeling, and using linear programming to compare fast food restaurants.Jason A. SmithJASON A. SMITH graduated from Oberlin College in 1996 with a B.A. in chemistry. He is now pursuing an M.D./Ph.D. at Boston University School of Medicine. His research interests include: neuropharmacology of drugs of abuse, high-resolution infrared spectroscopy, and RNA self-splicing reactions. In his spare time, he ponders potential applications of operations research to the medical sciences.
