Abstract

On sonography, superficial melanoma metastases typically are well-defined hypoechoic lesions with smooth or lobulated contours, mild to moderate heterogeneity, and enhanced acoustic through-transmission. Internal flow revealed by color Doppler sonography is present in many, but not all, superficial melanoma metastases.
