Serum cholesterol levels and postoperative atrial fibrillation

Abstract

The more lowered is the LDL-C in the preoperative period, the more reduced risk of postoperative atrial fibrillation development. High levels of LDL-C in the preoperative period could be predictor of atrial fibrillation development in the post operative period.
