Fifteen Lutzomyia species and one Brumptomyia species are reported in Colombia for the first time. Three Lutzomyia species in the subgenus Trichopygomyia, L. ferroae, n. sp., L. martinezi, n. sp., and L. witoto, n. sp., are described and illustrated. Descriptions of previously unknown females of L. erwindonaldoi (Ortiz), L. cerqueirai (Causey & Damasceno), and L. preclara Young & Arias are also provided. L. nordestina Barretto, a widespread species in South America, is identified as a junior synonym of L. sordellii (Shannon & Del Ponte).
