Combining xenon and mild therapeutic hypothermia preserves neurological function after prolonged cardiac arrest in pigs*

Abstract

These results demonstrate that even a short exposure to xenon during induction of mild therapeutic hypothermia results in significant improvements in functional recovery and ameliorated myocardial dysfunction.
