Abstract The enantioselective chalcogeno-Baylis-Hillman reaction was investigated by the use of chiral hydroxy chalcogenides in the presence of TiCl4 under atmospheric pressure. The best result was obtained with 10-methylthioisobornenol as a chiral hydroxy chalcogenide.
