Abstract

Size does not matter, at least for the diffusion of anions in poly(ethylene oxide). The conductivity and diffusion data obtained as a function of temperature for a series of perfluoroalkyl sulfonimides (see picture) indicate complete dissociation and obey the Nernst–Einstein equation rather than Stokes' law.
