This paper discusses some effects of localized magnetic moments in a superconducting electron gas. (a) The two electrons with up and down spin of a Cooper pair are submitted to different potentials, and the stability of the pair is reduced. (b) Electrons interact via spin waves. Special attention is given to dilute magnetic alloys, antiferromagnetic systems, and to boundary effects between a ferromagnetic and a superconducting metal.
