Abstract The synthesis of 4,5‐bis‐(4‐methoxyphenyl)‐2‐arylthio‐ and 4,6‐bis‐(4‐methoxyphenyl)‐2‐arylthiopyrimidines are described. The phenylthio, 4‐fluorophenylthio‐, 2‐thienylthio derivatives were prepared.
