Abstract

Direct contact between the EBB applicator and the tracheobronchial walls at the vicinity of the great vessels was one of the significant risk factors for massive hemoptysis. To prevent massive hemoptysis, a specific spacer should be employed to maintain a safe distance between the applicator and the bronchial wall.
