Abstract

This book is a review of the toxicity of mercury, and has focused on information considered important for understanding the toxic action of mercury, and on quantitative information on dose-response relationships. The emphasis is on chronic exposure, though acute exposure is also treated. Inhalation and ingestion are both examined as significant exposure pathways. 802 references.
