Dose Measurement in Beta-ray Therapy

Abstract

Measurements of β-ray dosage in röntgens are reported and other physical aspects of treatment by β-ray plaques are investigated. Depth doses in water are given, and the use of a plaque plus a reflector to irradiate larger areas is described. The clinical uses and limitations of β-ray therapy are discussed in relation to the physical properties of the radiation.
