Electronic devices have proved to be of some value in the treatment of resistant urinary incontinence in women. The success rate was highest in young nulliparous patients who had not had surgery and was lowest in older patients who had had pregnancies and previous surgery. The Vitalograph Continator was the most successful of the devices tested.
