The Faraday-rotation of amorphous TbFe and TbFeSn-alloys of various compositions were measured in the temperature range of <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">4 K \leq T \leq 450</tex> K. While the addition of Sn and also Bi and Pb leads to an increase of the magneto-optic effects in GdFe we have found Sn to decrease the Faraday-rotation in the TbFe-system. All investigated films were prepared by e-gun evaporation and showed uniaxial anisotropy.
