Hydatic Cyst in the Thyroid and Submandibular Salivary Glands in a Child

Abstract

A case of hydatic cyst of the thyroid and submandibular salivary glands was presented. The epidemiology, pathogenesis, clinical features of the cervical hydatic cysts and treatment of this rare combination of the hydatid disease were discussed.
