Nonrefluxing Neonatal Hydronephrosis and the Risk of Urinary Tract Infection

Abstract

Neonates with obstructive uropathy, severe hydronephrosis or hydroureteronephrosis have increased risk of urinary tract infection even without reflux, and antibiotic prophylaxis may be recommended.
