Congenital Fusion of the Gums with Bilateral Fusion of the Temporomandibular Joints

Abstract

A newborn baby with congenital bilateral complete fusion of the gums and the temporomandibular joints is presented. It seems to be the second case reported in the literature. The embryology, clinical features, and treatment of this rare disorder are described.
