Feeding habits of the European pond terrapin Emys orbicularis in Camargue (Rhône delta, Southern France)

Abstract

The diet of the European pond terrapin Emys orbicularis is poorly known, especially in the Mediterranean region. The aim of our study was to determine the diet of E. orbicularis in Camargue, a Mediterranean habitat, and to investigate for eventual dietary shifts.
