Limiting Distributions on Bicompact Abelian Groups

Abstract

We consider random variables with values in a bicompact Abelian group G. The properties of infinitely divisible laws on such groups are investigated in § 2 and 3. In the last section the various limit theorems are proved. The method of characteristic functions is the main approach used.
