Therapeutic Effect of Aureomycin in Pernicious Anemia.

Abstract

Four patients with Addisonian pernicious anemia in relapse and one patient with nutritional macrocytic anemia were treated with aureomycin given orally, with definite although submaximal hematological improvement. A fifth patient with Addisonian pernicious anemia was treated with aureomycin given intravenously with no response.
