Coprolites from the Upper Cretaceous Oldman Formation of Alberta are believed to be those of small to medium-sized reptiles of aquatic habit, probably crocodiles, champsosaurs, or chelonians. The coprolites contain a microflora consisting mainly of lycopods, ferns, hem locks, and various monocotyledons and dicotyledons, but the complete absence of any macro floral material is taken as an indication that the coprolites are derived from carnivorous reptiles.
