Abstract On-delta, delta-front, platform, delta-slope, and pro-delta shelf facies are identified in the Calciferous Sandstone Series (Carboniferous) sedimentary section exposed along the coast of East Fife. These several deltaic shelf facies are described and discussed in detail.
