Effect of cigarette smoking on human PDL fibroblasts attachment to periodontally involved root surfaces <i>in vitro</i>

Abstract

The present results suggest that cigarette smoking compromises PDL cell adhesion to root planed surfaces, which might affect periodontal regeneration following therapy.
