Functional outcome in bipolar disorder: the role of clinical and cognitive factors

Abstract

Low-functioning patients were cognitively more impaired than highly functioning patients on verbal recall and executive functions. The variable that best predicted psychosocial functioning in bipolar patients was verbal memory.
