Antielevation Syndrome after Unilateral Anteriorization of the Inferior Oblique Muscle

Abstract

Unilateral IOAT may result in antielevation syndrome. Therefore bilateral IOAT is recommended to balance antielevation in both eyes. A meticulous caution is needed when performing unilateral IOAT.
