Abstract In a 28‐day open label study, 15 inpatients with chronic schizophrenia in relapse were treated with BW234U. Approximately half of the patients showed marked improvement. Four patients showed no change and three dropped out. Thought disturbance improved markedly. The compound was tolerated very well.
