Sonographically diagnosed pelvic hematomas and postcesarean febrile morbidity

Abstract

Postcesarean bladder-flap hematomas are not predictive of post-operative fever. The presence of subfascial hematomas should be specifically sought in the evaluation of a febrile postcesarean patient.
