Abstract

In rabbit hearts with hypertrophy and signs of heart failure one month after induction of pressure/volume overload, two months of dietary treatment with the NHE-1 inhibitor cariporide caused regression of hypertrophy, heart failure and ionic and electrophysiological remodelling.
