Abstract

Abstract Further proofs are adduced in favour of the theory of add catalyzed acylation of amides to diacylamines. Synthetic examples are given partly as improvements of older methods, partly as illustrations of the theory. The preparation of the following new compounds is described: N‐isobutyrylbenzamide, N‐acetyl‐n‐butyramide, N‐methyldipropionimide and N‐methyldi‐n‐butyrimide.
