Transition Metal Substituted Phosphanes, Arsanes, and Stibanes, XLVI. Some Reactions of the Ferrio‐phosphane C 5 Me 5 (CO) 2 Fe PPh 2 and Molecular Structure of its Borane Adduct The reaction of Na[Fe(CO) 2 C 5 Me 5 ] ( 1 ) with Ph 2 PCl in benzene results in the formation of the title complex 2 . Treatment of 2 with elemental sulfur, MeI, or BH 3 · THF produce the iron‐substituted derivatives C 5 Me 5 (CO) 2 Fe P(S)Ph 2 ( 3 ), [C 5 Me 5 (CO) 2 Fe P(Me)Ph 2 ]I ( 4 ) or C 5 Me 5 (CO) 2 Fe PPh 2 BH 3 ( 5 ), respectively. The structure of the ferrio‐phosphane‐borane 5 is elucidated by X ‐ray crystal structure analysis.
