For center-of-mass electron energies \ensuremath{\le}0.08 eV (\ensuremath{\sim}1000 K) nearly all electron-ion dissociative recombination cross sections thus far measured by us follow the ${E}^{\ensuremath{-}1}$ dependence predicted by theory. This corresponds to a ${{T}_{e}}^{\ensuremath{-}0.5}$ temperature dependence of the reaction-rate coefficient.
