Abstract

An approach to formation of high-density, horizontally aligned arrays of pristine, individual single-walled carbon nanotubes (see image) is presented. The method involves multiple cycles of chemical vapor deposition growth to achieve densities and levels of uniformity in coverage better than those previously possible.
