Abstract

Infusion of prostacyclin in healthy control subjects increases renal plasma flow, angiotensin II, atrial natriuretic peptide, and heart rate and decreases mean blood pressure. Furthermore prostacyclin infusion does not change net sodium excretion in healthy controls.
