Impaired phosphate handling of renal allografts is aggravated under rapamycin‐based immunosuppression

Abstract

These data suggest that rapamycin-based immunosuppression prolongs the phosphate leak of the allografted kidney, leading to low serum phosphate levels during the first weeks after transplantation.
