The Inertial Subrange and Non-Positive Lyapunov Exponents in Fully-Developed Turbulence

Abstract

The Lyapunov vectors in scalar models of two-and three-dimensional fully-developed turbulence are investigated. It is found that the inertial subrange is characterized as a support of Lyapunov vectors which correspond to rlOn:positive Lyapunov exponents in the interior of the attractor.
