The presentpaper is a of the cases which attended the, DermatWM Department of the Medical College Hospital Trivandrumduring aperiodoffive years(1967197 1). Skin diseases formed about 10 percent of the total cases which attended the hospital. Of the skin diseases 46.85 percent were infectious and 53.15 percent non-infectious. Fungus infections (I 8.24 %) had the highest incidence amongthe infectious group and allergy and e4bzema (20.3 7 %) among the non-infectious group.
