Abstract

The current findings strongly suggest that activation of the NF kappaB inflammatory pathway by angiotensin II-induced reactive oxygen species generation may importantly contribute to vascular injury, systemic inflammation, as well as vascular and peripheral insulin resistance in salt-sensitive hypertension.
