Equivalence of Localized Spin Fluctuations and the Kondo-Nagaoka Spin-Compensated State

The physical equivalence between the Kondo-Nagaoka spin-compensated state and localized spin fluctuations in a dilute "nonmagnetic" alloy is demonstrated. The Kondo temperature is shown to be equal to $\ensuremath{\tau}_{0}^{}{}_{}{}^{\ensuremath{-}1}$, the width of the spin fluctuations, and determines the boundary between magnetic and nonmagnetic behavior of dilute alloys.
